This tutorial covers the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just before Thotar provides a taming Rod for the Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar will give you a series of three taming rods, each one is different and allows you tame beasts in the next order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and eventually an Armored Scorpid.

When you have done the taming Portion of The search chain, you will need to head to Orgrimmar and my company speak to Ormak Grimshot from the Valley of Honor to be able to unlock your pet managing capabilities: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive Pet; and Beast Training.

Finally, do not forget to go to the Pet Trainer and get the Pet capabilities that you will need to give to your pet.
